Eligibility: Fairport Canal Days is a juried arts show for artists of all mediums. However, dealers, commercial enterprises, or studios involved in volume production are not permitted. Each work displayed must be the work of the applicant. The following items are not permitted: logo items, such as NFL, Disney, etc; items made from commercially-available kits; plastic flowers; incense; or ceramic items made from commercial molds.
Artisan Applicants: In our ongoing effort to become more "green", we encourage you to apply on line, though we will accept paper-based mailed applications. Applying online lets you pay registration and booth fees with your credit card. Plus, you can quickly upload digital photos rather than printing and mailing them in. To apply by mail, download the appropriate application below. Complete and return it, including the photos or preferrably digital photos on a CD and payment amounts as described in the associated instructions (included in the PDF where appropriate).
For artisans that are accepted to the festival, space assignements will be sent out on or about May 21st. The deadline to apply is Feb.1st.
Non-Profit Applicants: The focus of your booth at the show should be to provide the public with information about your organization. For example, large signs or poster boards advertising your group’s intent. No selling of water or soda due to food vendors paying a large fee to participate in show. The intent is to create awareness in the public about your organization.
Food Vendor Applicants: Please print, complete and submit both the "Food and Beverage Vendor" application and the Monroe County Health Dept. forms found below. (FPMA Food vendor see below)
FPMA members: Please complete your applicaiton on line (though we will accept paper applications.) If you are an FPMA member who operates a restaurant and would like to sell food in your booth during Canal Days, you must submit a different application called "FPMA Food Vendor Member Application." Contact us at info@fairportcanaldays.com for more information and to obtain the form.
