Fairport Canal Days InformationFairport Canal Days is an annual two-day arts and crafts festival held the first weekend of June in Fairport, NY. This is one of the Northeast's premier events, drawing approximately a quarter-million visitors each year. Booths are located along Main Street as well as in four adjacent parking lots where there is a continuous flow of pedestrian traffic. Main Street is closed to vehicular traffic during festival hours and shuttle bus service is provided. Boat cruises along the Erie Canal add to the festive atmosphere. Fairport is located in upstate New York and is an eastern suburb of Rochester. Fairport is a charming community and one of the showcase stops for boats traveling the historic Erie Canal. |
