"I am an artist with traditional painting, specializing in hand-painted nesting dolls
(Matryoshka). My artistic journey began over 20 years ago, when I first discovered
my love for floral design, woodwork, and the timeless beauty of folk art. What
began as an exploration of tradition quickly became a creative passion, and I fell in
love with the challenge of transforming each doll into a work of art."
"I use traditional hand-painting techniques, starting with a carefully prepared
wooden base. Each doll is sanded and primed before I sketch the design, often
drawing inspiration from nature—particularly flowers and organic patterns. I use
acrylic paints for their vibrancy and durability, layering colors to create depth and
texture. The process is meticulous and involves fine brushes and, at times, delicate
gold leaf accents to bring out the intricate details. Every doll is unique, with designs
ranging from delicate floral patterns to more contemporary, abstract interpretations."
