Pottery PlusBooth Number: BOA141 Address: Contact: thamon1@rochester.rr.com I make handbuilt (slab method) pottery and by doing this, I've been able to add texture, designs, words and artwork to the clay while it is lying flat, which would not be possible to do to pottery done on a wheel. I've also been able to make different sizes and shapes not normally available when using a wheel. I also mix most of my glazes rather than using commercial glazes. I work in my kitchen and glaze in the basement. I have two kilns in the garage. This made it possible for me to keep my eye on our boys as they were growing up and still work at making my pottery. I've been making pottery and doing shows for over forty years and still enjoy showing and selling my pottery as well as meeting and talking with the people who visit my booth.
