Art of Yen OspinaBooth Number: TBD Address: Website: https://www.yenospina.com Contact: ospinayen@gmail.com Hello, I'm Yen Ospina, a self-taught Colombian-American artist immersed in the creation of traditional and digital artworks here in upstate NY. My artistic style pays homage to the likes of Alphonse Mucha, Gustav Klimt, and Frida Kahlo, blending influences from etching and lithographs of the 1500s with the rich tapestry of my South American background. My artistic focus revolves around BIPOC women, folklore, fairytales, and surrealism, providing a platform to explore the intersections of culture, identity, and mental health. Through my zine books, I delve into the realm of mental health awareness, complemented by the creation of coloring books for interactive self-expression. Collaboration is at the heart of my work, extending to the indigenous tribe from my hometown. Annually, I bring handmade earrings from Colombia to the U.S. As a prolific artist, I strive to keep my portfolio dynamic, crafting different works each year to ensure freshness for markets. Every piece is meticulously hand-drawn digitally and printed at home in various sizes—5×7, 8.5×11, 13×19, and framed art. The commitment to professionalism extends to the packaging, ensuring my creations are presented to the world with care and attention to detail. In addition to prints, I offer waterproof stickers featuring both my artwork and inspirational quotes, coloring books, and art t-shirts. My gift bundles, comprising a greeting card, sticker, postcard, 4×6 art print, and a coloring page, add an element of surprise for collectors as each bundle is a mystery item, leaving them curious about the artwork they'll receive. |
