I pick a few bright colors that look nice next to each other. From there, I let those colors guide the mood of the scene. Within that the shape of the landscape appears to me. The colors can lead me to many scenes I have experienced in my life or to worlds only seen in my imagination. I keep the forms loose and the textures deep to bring these scenes to life. I like to work with both acrylic paint and digital programs since both offer unique challenges and styles that I enjoy.
