I sell greeting cards printed from my original watercolor paintings. Most are different dog breeds carrying balloons that spell out Happy Birthday. To create them I first sketch and then paint a large 16”x20” watercolor painting on paper. Once completed, I take the painting to a print shop where my painting is then scanned and printed onto greeting cards using high quality card stock and archival ink. I use high quality materials so my cards can last for years and be framed. I also paint with acrylics on canvas. I paint a variety of subjects from landscapes to animals to also more whimsical subjects. Some of my most popular are small 6×6 paintings of cute cartoonish ghosts around a campfire, fishing, or on swings in the woods. I first sketch out ideas in a sketch book. I will then paint acrylics on the canvas to bring the scene to life. I will also have prints made by the same printer for my greeting cards. The prints I package in plastic wrappers with a matt.
